Ancestry suggests that a marriage in 1886 of a Hannah Cook is relevant - IT ISN'T!! That one was born in 1838 in Kent

You now have to consider the fact that they may NOT have married, that one of them had married someone else and then left that person.

People living together and saying they were married was common back then, especially when they move to a different area where no-one knows them.

Have you traced either or both them back to their births, found out their parents, and then used that information to find a previous marriage?
