Thanks girls I have looked at the census but needed to have it confirmed by you Ladies Who Look as its a long while since I have looked anything up and am getting old...... I do enjoy a good chase though. You found more than I did as I only have ancestry.
Can anyone find a marriage for him to Doreen please?
He is supposed to have died in Camden aged about 81 I think.

Yes thats the right chap thank you so much. He was supposed to stay in Bolounge ? sorry about the spelling. I did look on the gro index but could'nt find anything on there about his birth. They said something about changing their service numbers at one time he may have gone in the next war.
There is on on the 1939 register with a wife Doreen but no children and I could'nt find a marriage.

A friend found a service medal and tried to look it up as they had the name and service number. I had a look but could'nt find anything at all about him. He was Joseph A Wilson 1899. Think he came from Devon have his service number and supposidly born 8th June 1899. They say he was Joseph Alexander Wilson and they had his assention record but I could'nt find that either. He was in the Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry from Sept 1914.
Any help wuld be just great as she would like to return the medal to any living relative.
Thanks
