Looking for possible burial place of John MCGREGOR (book binder) born 1829 Paisley to Thomas MCGREGOR & Martha MCFARLANE. Married Ann Blackie MCALPINE 1849 High Church, Paisley. They had two children Elizabeth born George Street, Paisley 1850 and Thomas born approximately 1852 Saltcoats. Family lived in Saltcoats from 1850-1852. John died 7 July 1852 drowned while bathing. I found some information in Paisley Poor Laws dated 1854. Any help would be appreciated. |

Thank you all so much. ArgyllGran I have not seen this article so thank you for this. I have contacted a few churches but have not been able to find where he is buried. I will continue contacting cemeteries. |

In England it is the cemeteries officer at the local council that usually has the records. |
