(I was previously guessing at a different Ruth M Hall in 1958, so have deleted wrong info about parents/grandparents.)

I deliberately gave minimal info, in view of the man's birth year.

Perhaps we need to be careful what we post about this man.

He and Ruth , with two adult children, were living in Whitehaven in 2013, per ER, and there's no record of their deaths, up to 2022 at least.

Going by ER and FreeBMD, Ruth was probably born 1958.

Kenneth Glaister married RUTH M HALL in 1980, so logic dictates that she is the connection.

No birth in Whitehaven district for Ruth M Hall, and no way of finding parentage until Pauline comes back with - hopefully - some facts.

If she wasn’t born in the area, one wonders how she links to Henry Hall born 1917……IF she does.

The surname for Kenneth is GLAISTER. How on earth does that connect with HALL?

Have you any documentary backup? Have you looked for any info anywhere?

Kenneth 1948 and his father was Walter mother was Nee Kelly

Working your tree back from what you definitely know will help the queries slot into place, or not.

One should always recheck information given to you by family. History gets distorted.

Joseph William was NOT the father of Henry, who is apparently the focus of this request, and is in Pauline's tree with incorrect birth date (as per my earlier post)

If Pauline ever returns to this thread, perhaps she will enlighten us as to who she is actually trying to research :-S :-S
