Information if anyone has any on 'Bithell the Fish' who fished on the River Dee at Flint Flintshire North Wales. This Family were some how related to my Father's side of the Family. They did live in Marsh Lane Flint. A daughter would sell fish from a van on the Dee Bridge. Her name was Margaret, never knew if she married !
This family leave a gap in my tree as no matter how much I have researched I come stuck.

When was this?

In 1939 there were several Bithell households in Flint - some in Marsh Lane and others nearby, almost all involved with fishing.

And of course those same families appear in earlier censuses, and there are still Bithells in Flint, per ER's.

If you look at "Search all member trees", under "Search" at top right of this page, and search for the name Bithell, born in Flint, you'll find a large number of names in people's trees on GR.
Click on "Find out more" beside the tree "owners"' names, and send messages.

Numerous Bithells in Flint on 1939 Register. The men were Fishermen - one had a daughter, Margaret, whose MMN was Latham

The Fish Hawker in the family was named ENA

But, if you’ve researched thoroughly, you’ve probably found all this already
