In the 1901 census, my relation by marriage is shown aged 22 and married to Dorothie aged 21.

Robert's occupation is intriguing: "Secretary Thomas Preservation Society" and he is an employer. Research has drawn a blank.

Robert's place of birth is wrongly transcribed and should in fact be Grimsby, Lincolnshire. I have corrected it. I CAN'T BE SURE OF HIS DETAILS IN THE 1891/1881 CENSUSES since I don't know his father's or mother's names.

Dorothie's place of birth is incorrectly entered and should in fact be Ceylon.

I CANNOT FIND THEIR MARRIAGE ANYWHERE. They went on to have three sons before Robert died leaving Dorothie a widow by the time of the 1911 census. I ALSO CANNOT FIND DETAILS OF HIS UNTIMELY DEATH.

She is easily found in the 1921 census and also the 1939 register. I have the details of her death, etc.
