I'm trying to find out what happened to Mary Ann. She was born Walters and the first child of my grandmother (Rose Hannah Morgan) and Theophilus Walters. My grandma went into a workhouse in Abbey Dore and in there teamed up with my grandfather and had a girl Alice Bertha Potter. On Granddads death cert. (1918), Mary Ann is listed, but on my grandmother's death cert. (1922) she is missing. (Her surname was altered to Potter when she was about 3 yrs old). The cert states 2 (two) females deceased. I have the death cert. of Alice Bertha who was born 1891 died 1892. It appears that Mary Ann died sometime between1918 and 1922, BUT WHERE ? The family migrated to Western Australia in 1913/14. No one to date has been able to find out when and where she died or if she ever got married. Somebody must know something about her. I would appreciate some sort of assistance in this matter. |
