Notes about Mary Ann, by Dalinpot35, against 1911 census on Ancestry:

"Did she die of the Spanish Flu? Would they have had a mass grave or such like???

If she did indeed get married it would have been end 1913 to sometime in 1922 but no trace of a marriage has been located.

A Mary Potter born 1889 travelled to USA as a maid aboard the Mauretania 11 Oct 1913. Intended country of residence was listed as the UK so there was no intention of settling in the USA."

Tks. everybody, I have all this info. I'm looking mainly for Mary Ann. Mary is NOT listed on the ship's passenger list. I have to assume that she stayed behind in the UK with those kids of Joseph who didn't emigrate to Western Australia. Ralph came to Aust. but went back home via Melbourne. Fredrick stayed in the UK. ArgyllGran, your spot on. Joseph came out earlier to set up house etc. I have many of the family member's birth certs also Mary Ann's and Alice Bertha. I just can't get any further than Jan 18 1918 , with Mary , where she was listed on Granddad Joseph's death cert. as still being alive along with her siblings. Anyway, many tks for looking up for me.

She isn’t listed on the 1921 census as potter or walters
