Ancestry ...East Sussex records show a Battle marriage on 13 August 1793 for a Stephen Gower marrying Jemima Cruttenden ( both of that parish ) |

In 1841 they would have given their ages which for anyone over the age of 15 were supposed to be rounded down to the nearest 5 ie age 19 would show as 15 so born 1826-1822 |

Unless you can find baptisms of any other children on FamilySearch, for instance, or can deduce anything from location of any marriages giving father's name, there's no way to find out. |
