ArgllGran, I've spent many hours looking for it but to no avail. Whatever I found and saved I wish I hadn't deleted it.

I have amended my earlier reply, I must have caught the 9 instead if 0, the age in the record was 10 not 19.

Well I've found where my two dna matches match each other, just not where they match me.

Where have you 'come across' the baptisms to which you refer? Have you accessed the images?

ErikaH, thanks for your help. I'm a little confused tbough. I've come across two baptisms for Sarah with John Felmingham and Elizabeth Say, 1823 and in 1844 when thst Sarah was 10 years old.

In the 1861 Census when Sarah is with Mary, Harriet and Eliza in the workhouse, her age is right for the 1822 birth so not sure about the 10 year old Sarah who was baptised in 1844.

Just received the birth certificate, such a shame the digital copy was so poor and missing the important info.

Mum named as Sarah, not Elizabeth as is clearly written in the baptism register.

ErikaH, you were right in that the baptism record could be wrong.

ErikaH, now that the GRO is back up and running I've just ordered the birth certificate.

ErikaH I think it will just say Elizabeth as mum the same as the baptism record and the address may just be the village. Even if it gave an actual address the name Elizabeth won't help unfortunately.

I do believe that Mary Ann Maria Felmingham is the granddaughter of John Felmingham and Elizabeth Say, just not sure which daughter was her mum. Although the tree on Ancestry has their daughter Sarah as Sarah ELizabeth, they also have attached her non conformist baptism record to their tree, the baptism record just has the name Sarah. The records of the daughter born after Sarah is shown as Maria Ann Maria but I'm of the thought it was Mary for her first name, so this is a family name.

The other alternative is Eliza but she had a daughter in 1872 she and her husband named Mary Ann

What are your thoughts please.
