Hi, I'm looking for the parents of Alice G Compton, born March qtr 1912 Islington, record says Mother maiden name is Nash, but I am a bit stuck as I can't access the 1921 census, she married George Lovejoy in Dec qtr 1934 at Islington. Any help would be appreciated. Teresa

Hi, I know George married Alice, it is Alice's parents that I need to find, so a marriage for Compton and Nash, or a 1921 census entry.

Hi Theresa - I spotted my mistake and changed it, not quickly enough. But you can still search for a Compton/Nash marriage.

I couldn't find one that I thought would be compatible with Alice's date of birth, I have looked on freebmd for Islington, or is it me just being a bit slow !! :-S

It wouldn’t necessarilly be the same place. Especially for London prop,e moved around a bit.
