I have hit a brick wall, am trying to find the parents of David Richards, I have David's marriage certificate, he was married 15 Aug 1903 to Helena Evans, David was 30, and Helena 29. |

I think James birth place is probably Blaen Clydach in the Rhonda. |

I have noticed that it is sometimes spelt different ways. I am sure its the same place as its all in the Rhonda. |

Have you discounted this family from the 1881 census? |

Who witnessed the marriage? |

I have seen that 1881 census, and thought it a possibility, but because of the common names I wasn't sure. The problem with the Welsh names is that they repeat themselves through the generations. |

The 1921 census was taken on 19 June, so IF (big IF) the info is correct, he would have been born in May 1873, and therefore this would be his birth: |

As I have been looking into this for so long I will probably order those 2 birth certificates, I will be able to get them on PDF, much cheaper and quicker. |
