I have a birth certificate for Louisa Martha French born 2nd March 1897 in the Workhouse Infirmary Croydon Surrey. No fathers name given, only mothers name Dorothy French, Domestic Servant of Croydon. There is a baptism in Croydon for Louisa on 22 May 1897 with the names George and Dorothy, French, but George has been crossed out. an address is given on this record as 172 Pawson Road. I have been unable to find Louisa or Dorothy on the 1901 or 1911 Census. Any help finding them would be much appreciated. Thank you. Pam |
