The Bishops Stortford registration district does cover Little Hadham so safe should have the right birth. |

Look for the birth on the GRO site where MMN is recorded, and as long as he wasn’t illegitimate, look for a marriage for potential parents |

Dates of birth on the 1939 Register are often "out" by a year, so the 1867 birth posted by Safc seems very likely. |
