Posting just to rule this out as William's birth, even though it would fit with DOB given in 1939 (I was thinking maybe reason for BAWER spelling) :

William Bauer in the England & Wales, Civil Registration Death Index, 1837-1915 Name: William Bauer Age: 0 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1902 Registration Quarter: Apr-May-Jun Death Registration Place: Bromley, Kent, United Kingdom Death Date: Jun 1902 Inferred Death Place: Kent, United Kingdom Volume: 2a Page: 273

Perhaps BAwer is a mis-spelling??
There were two BOwer/Tune births: 1944 Doncaster, and 1950 Wharfedale.
I don't see a Bower/Tune marriage.
The 1950 child is now living in Sussex - per 1922 ER on GR, and 2010 ER on Ancestry. Was a policeman in Yorkshire at one time, from a Google search.
The 1944 child :
Births Jun 1944 (>99%) Bower Adrian J Tune Doncaster 9c 1517
Adrian James Bower in the Web: France, Death Records, 1970-2018 Name: Adrian James Bower Gender: homme (Male) Death Age: 69 Birth Date: 30 avr. 1944 (30 Apr 1944) Birth Place: Doncaster, Royaume-Uni (United Kingdom) Death Date: 22 févr. 2014 (22 Feb 2014) Death Place: Creteil, Val-De-Marne, France Certificate Number: 301
He had lived and worked in Fremantle at some stage:

Thank you all for your kind help.
I spoke to an elderly family member tonight she said that Fanny was known as Frances? and that she died in Australia a few years back and that she was in a care home but not sure where it was. she does not remember who it was that told her about the death.
I have been searching for them for some time and have not found any Australian records so far The one thing I don't have which might help me is a copy of the marriage cert for this couple Ian

Not seeing them under those names on Ships Passenger lists which go up to c 1960 online nor on Electoral Rolls in Australia which go up to 1980 online (sure someone once said in Australia, you have to be on the ER"s after 2 years of arrival)

Emigrated shortly after a 1942 marriage.? Probably from 1946 onwards due to the war.
Added: according to Google there was mass emigration from 1945. Mostly on Assisted Passage. As those on AP only had to stay for a set number of years are you sure they didn’t return?
