Still researching this lot.

I cannot find Florence Wood in the 1939 Register, she isnt living with her husband but cannot find her anywhere. He is at number 20 Villiers Avenue and at number 15 its left blank with a question mark next to number 15

this is the details from the electoral register in the years before...

1931 - Leonard Charles, with Edward Robert and Maud Alice, is at 97 Myrtle Road, Twickenham.

1934 - Charles Leonard (sic) and Florence are at 5 Parkside Road, Twickenham.
1935 - Charles Leonard and Florence at that address.
1936 - Leonard Charles and Florence are at 5 Parkside Road.

1937 & 1938 - Leonard Charles and Florence are at 15 Villiers Avenue, Twickenham.

From at least 1947 onwards, Florence and Leonard C (or G) were at 61 Pope's Avenue .
He's Leonard C in all years except 1963 and 1964, when he's Leonard G.

Rose Knott (aka Rose L Knott or Lorna R Knott) is at the same address: cant find her either.

Can someone take a look for me please? Thanks

We have all looked for Florence and Lorna/Rose in 1939 already, and can't find them

Sometimes the records one would like to find just aren't there.

Perhaps their records are still closed.

I am revisiting this thread as I've had updates.

I purchased a death cert and I have found that Florence Wood is the one who died in Wales in 2005! She must have moved there when her husband died and lived a few doors down in the same street as her daughter.

The informant was her daughter Jean Pamela Lever and they both lived in the same street in Tywyn in Wales. I have both the addresses so can see if Jean still lives there.

There is no record of that house having been sold since 2019 (or ever) , so if she's the owner , Jean may still be there, possibly having opted out of the public ER.

However, if she is still there, and if you try to contact her, bear in mind that she is 92.
You don't know what her state of health may be.

yeah very mindful of that. Hence why I havent done it yet and want to look for possible children first

I don't see any likely births of children from either of Jean's marriages.

What Jean marriages are you seeing? I cant find any Wood/Lever Marriages.

I have found this possible but a blooming long shot and wondered if this Jean is the same person

A Jean Wood married a John Wrigley in Saddleworth, Yorks in 1956 and then a Jean Wrigley married a Normal Lever in 1960 in Huddersfield, Yorks..

Wood/Irish in 1962, then Irish/Lever in 1978
