Find Ancestors

I'm looking for a bit of help please.
Trying to find info on a William Matthews b.1817 Mold, Flintshire. He married Barbara Jones b. 1823 Mold
I've managed to find them on the 1861/71/81 censuses, but that about it.

Their son John Matthews b.1852 Mold married Ellen Hughes b. 1864 Llanrhaiadr, Denbighshire and married 1892 in Flintshire.

Then their son Edward William Matthews b. 1898 Mold married Hannah Margaret Evans b. 1897 Neston.

Apart from the 3 censuses, I cannot find them anywhere else, or birth records.
Is anyone searching this family?

It is highly unlikely that anyone currently researching this family will find your thread.
John Matthews is on FreeBMD with the registration area as Holywell. I’ve not looked for the others.

Finding his parents births may well be more difficult as not all Chapel records were retained. Many were destroyed.

The family are on a numbers of trees on Ancestry, some of which give a full date of birth in 1820 for William
