He is researching the GNR WW1 casualties and that is all I know. I should have said he is an acquaintance not a friend met through our History Society. I will change this on my original post. |

The name of the man who died in 1916 seems to vary between Haywood and Hayward. |

I think I have found a death in 1913 which is more than likely him. This fella was a railway worker but died on the Railway line not in the war. All the family names fit as does the address for his father that matches with the 1911 census. |
