Just for ELIMINATION of John Henry 1903-4 -
I think he's the son of this couple:
David William Bray in the England & Wales, Civil Registration Marriage Index, 1837-1915 Name: David William Bray Registration Year: 1892 Registration Quarter: Apr-May-Jun Registration District: Neath Inferred County: Glamorgan Volume: 11a Page: 1196 Records on Page: Name David William Bray Sarah Jane Gillott
The family (though not all of them at once) are on 1901 and 1911 censuses (see next post) . 1911 says that they had 10 children, of whom 6 had died.
Births of 10 children (if including John Henry):
BRAY, ADAM mmn GILLARD GRO Reference: 1893 D Quarter in NEATH Volume 11A Page 790 BRAY, WILLIAM HENRY mmn GILLOT GRO Reference: 1892 S Quarter in NEATH Volume 11A Page 780
BRAY, RACHAEL ANN mmn GILLERT GRO Reference: 1896 M Quarter in NEATH Volume 11A Page 867
BRAY, EMILY WINIFRED mmn GILLARY GRO Reference: 1901 S Quarter in NEATH Volume 11A Page 947
BRAY, ADAM mmn GILLERT GRO Reference: 1898 M Quarter in NEATH Volume 11A Page 887 BRAY, GEORGE HENRY mmn GILLETT GRO Reference: 1899 D Quarter in NEATH Volume 11A Page 815
BRAY, ELIZABETH ANN mmn GILLETT GRO Reference: 1906 J Quarter in NEATH Volume 11A Page 978
BRAY, IDRIS mmn GILLOT GRO Reference: 1908 M Quarter in NEATH Volume 11A Page 1079
David Samuel's birth doesn't come up on the GRO site:
David Samuel Bray in the England & Wales, Civil Registration Birth Index, 1837-1915 Name: David Samuel Bray Registration Date: 1894 Quarter of the Year: Oct-Nov-Dec Registration Place: Neath, Glamorgan, Wales Volume: 11a Page: 822a
Deaths before 1911 census - 6 children (if including John Henry) and also the mother:
Deaths Jun 1894 (>99%) Bray Adam 0 Neath 11a 390
Deaths Dec 1899 (>99%) Bray George Henry 0 Neath 11a 553
Early 1910 was a terrible time for the family:
Deaths Mar 1910 (>99%) BRAY David William 17 Neath 11a 546 BRAY Emily Winifred 8 Neath 11a 550 BRAY Idris 2 Neath 11a 545 BRAY Sarah Jane 38 Neath 11a 552
I don't see the birth of David William who died in 1910 - but perhaps he is William Henry 1892 , who is on the 1901 census but I can't see him later.
He's definitely the same family, as the burial record gives the address of all four who died in 1910 as 17 Eastgate Terrace. David and Idris were both buried on Feb 15th 1910. Emily Winifred was buried on March 12th, and Sarah Jane on March 22nd.

Sadly, that looks like the marriage of another wrong Sarah:
Sarah A Bray in the 1901 Wales Census Name: Sarah A Bray Age in 1901: 58 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1843 <<<<<<<<<< Relation: Wife Spouse: James H Bray Gender: Female Where Born: Bideford, Devon, England <<<<<<<<<< Civil Parish: Swansea Town: Swansea Ecclesiastical parish: St Mary County/Island: Glamorgan Country: Wales Street Address: View image Condition as to marriage: View image Education: View image Employment status: View image Occupation: View image Registration District: Swansea Sub-registration District: Swansea ED, institution, or vessel: 10 Neighbors: Household Schedule Number: 70 Piece: 5075 Folio: 79 Page Number: 12 Household Members: Name Age James H Bray 62 Sarah A Bray 58
Can't comment on the birth/death of the child - presumably the child of a different couple.

Malyon -
Unfortunately, it's a common name.
Seven women named Sarah Ann/Anne/A Lewis married in Swansea between 1895 and 1911 alone.
And another 19 with no middle name stated.
Looking at the 1898 marriage you suggest, that woman married Griffith John Jones, and according to the 1911 census, she was born in 1879.

If they are in GR trees, you can find them by looking at ‘search all member trees’
EDITED
She’s in at least one tree - send a message and hope that the person’s e-mail is still the one he registered with `GR

A long shot but can anyone in this group help? I can’t find a death record for my g grandmother Sarah Ann Lewis formerly Gilbert. She was born in Darlaston in 1868 and married John Lewis in Swansea on 5/1/1892. My grandad Henry Lewis was born 18/11/189. John died in an accident on 21/12/1895. Although John had parents and siblings, my grandad Henry ended up aged 3 in the Cockett Homes for destitute children. Sarah disappears from the records and her father Thomas Gilbert eventually finds his grandson seven years later and takes him out of the home to live with him in Evesham. It’s such a sad story and I’d like to know what happened to Sarah, and why his Welsh grandparents and uncles and aunts didn’t take him in he was 3 years old and it breaks my heart that this happened. Just on the off chance anyone might have any of these ancestors in their tree and have any information which may help solve this mystery, thank you in advance.
