I'm hoping that your collective family history noses can help track down more information about Mary Elizabeth Jones.(yes I know, a bad combination of names) The recently released 1921 census has revealed that my 2x Great Grandfather John Thomas Clarke had a second wife that I knew nothing about. I have managed to track down that he married Mary Elizabeth Thompson, in 1913. A copy of the marriage certificate shows her as a widow aged 58, with father Edward Jones, occupation farmer. They married at the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, both are shown as resident in nearby Leadenham, Lincolnshire. Which is where they are living in 1921. Mary is shown on the census as 65yrs old with birthplace Welshpool. Both marriage cert and census thus imply birth around 1855/6. I am struggling to find her birth, baptism, marriage, and where she was on earlier census data. I can't seem to find a combination of data that makes sense. Can anyone help?

Who were the witnesses to the 1913 marriage?

They were actually my great grandparents i.e. his youngest daughter Lucy and her husband William Chambers, they married just after the 1911 census.
