Electoral registers for the time have Timothy and Ada at Manor Field from at least 1921 till 1929.
Arthur Joseph Ashworth is next at Meadows.

As an aside, this appears to be him

EXCUSES FOR THEFTS OF WOOD IN NOTTS. I sawed the tree down because I had no coal and the seven children wanted a bit of fire to warm them' said Timothy Ashmore, a miner, of Awsworth when summoned at the Nottingham Shire Hall today with stealing part of an oak tree, value £5 at Kimberley.

15 June 1921 - Nottingham Evening Post - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England

He was fined £2. It appears there were a few miners at the same court all charged with stealing wood, one even got charged for stealing an old broken fence.
Times were certainly hard back then.

There's a 1937 map of Awsworth, which shows Rose Cottage and the house at the end of Park Hill - and then several empty plots before the row of terraced houses which are still there.

This next one, from 1913, shows Rose Cottage and its neighbour, and then Allotment Gardens before the terraced houses.

This third one is from 1921 - but also shows a big empty space between Rose Cottage and the terrace:

Looking at Google Streetview -

Rose Cottage, Park Hill (built 1904) is the second house from the downhill end of Park Hill.

Can't see the house right at the bottom of the hill, as the Google camera doesn't go as far as that.

The houses uphill from Rose Cottage look more recent., but don't have names visible.

As Croft House is the last house listed in 1911, I assume that's the house at the bottom of the hill, and it seems reasonable that Bayleys Fields should be the fields/allotments - but there's no house on the maps.

Doing an address search on 1921, there is one result for Lane End Yard, Greasley

And one for Lane End Yard, Giltbrook

The very useful Alan Godfrey maps don’t appear to cover the village.

Are you looking for them in the present?

Or searching historical maps?

Have you submitted surname transcription corrections to FMP?

When you say you have looked high and low for these places, where have you looked?

I have found my grand parents Timothy & Ada Ashmore in the newly released 1921 census. Their address is stated as Mayley's fields Awsworth
I have searched high and low to find this place without success
Most of my Ashmore along with Coleman & Webster relatives lived in the local area, Awsworth and Eastwood. and on my mother's birth certificate states she was born in 1917 in Lane end yard Greasley, another address I cannot locate.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
