Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 863 Send Message	Yes I had found the family in both these census, i I just can’t find a marriage for Abraham and Mary nor a birth for Abraham. However I did find a marriage of Abraham Stopford and Betty Andrews (Ashton) in 1780 in Ashton under Lyne but couldn’t find if they had a son Abraham . Found a connection possibly of this marriage because Abraham and Mary had a daughter named Betty baptised 29th June 1823. Obviously in the 1841 and 1851 census Abraham husband was not listed so presume he was the death listed in 1841

	Is this the father STOPFORD, ABRAHAM 46 GRO Reference: 1841 M Quarter in ASHTON AND OLDHAM Volume 20 Page 25 The death cert should hopefully give his address which will help the search

Name of Stopford and living in Droylsden or Ashton under Lyne Lancashire. Believe husband Abraham died 3 Mar 1841, so unsure if they didn't admit their census because of his death. Another pair of eyes please
