It looks as if Mary Ann was just their live-in general servant, but doubtless she became fond of little Renee, and may well have kept a photo of her.

could someone give me some info on the 1911 censor for william Hooton born about 1878 with wife ,Mary Hooton please,I have an old photo taken in 1913 with a little girl called Rene aged abou3 looking at the photo written on the back.thinking it must be a family connection somwhere i have been though our porritts,clarksons and green family only to find my great aunt Mary Ann Green who was 20 at the time, was living with them on the 1911 censor ,would love to know if the Hooton family is connected,any help would be appreiciated ,thank you regards sandra ,
