Find Ancestors

Along with another distant cousin here in Australia, we cannot find details of Martha Meads, 7th daughter of George Meads and Esther Gray, born 1817, Medmenham, Buckinghamshire. She had Mary Ann in 1842 and maybe another? Did she ever marry?
Nothing of Martha beyond the 1851 census, which has her mother Esther, brother's John, William, her daughter Mary Ann, (plus an Emma, daughter?)
Did Martha die in mid 1851 still unmarried?
It seems Mary Ann Married George Peedle in Oxford in 1866 and having 3 children before her death in1881 at only 39 years. (George then married Sarah Martha Eade in 1883).
Can anyone please supply more details of Martha's life, and "no details" Emma in the 1851census?

Deleted my 'red herring'

Thanks very much all of you for the above information.

I have a copy of the Mary Ann's wedding, showing her father as William Meads.

It is known over the centuries that siblings have been intimate with each other. Maybe Mary Ann's father is a cousin of her mother Martha, as there is a William
Joseph Meads, born the same year as Martha, but born in Hurley, Berkshire.
There seems to be very little on the records for him, or his family.

The other William is Martha's younger brother. Although he would have been only 15 at the time of Mary Ann's birth. Also, if Emma1851 is Martha's, we may never know the father!

The mention of the village of Hurley rang a bell. Terence has made a lot of enquires about the Meads family over the last couple of years and, presumably, been given a lot of research advice.

There are Meads/Medes/Meade in Buckinghamshire as far back as the 1500's.

Emma's birth cert will verify whether or not she was Martha's daughter, but you'll never know who her father was.

So far, I can't see any marriage or death for Martha, nor do I see her in any census after 1851, so don't know what happened to her after that.
