Can anyone tell me how to find a Canadian birth certificate please?

Marriage and death certificates in the UK state that DAVID GEORGE JONES was born on 22nd September 1907 in Montresse (? transcription / spelling error for Montrose) Canada.

By 1911 it appears that the family are in Porthcawl South Wales with mother Mary Annie Jones (nee Morgan) and father George Henry Jones

BUT I cannot locate a birth record or confirmation of travel back to the UK..

All and any suggestions very much appreciated.

Surely UK marriage certs don’t have birthplace info.

His birth may not be online (I certainly can't see it) - Canada is strict about how long records remain unavailable online.
