Irish/Ulster records can be quite patchy. |

Thanks to you all for taking the time to reply to my message, I can see I have a lot of work ahead of me! I've started working through the sites you've suggested and am making some progress. I've also found the site familysearch.org to be surprisingly useful. |

There are some birth, marriage and death records for Ireland on Findmypast. If you want to give some names and dates someone will have a look for you. |

There might be some on Ancestry but your best bet is GRONI. The General Records Office Northern Ireland - there should be advice on their website. |

I've got names and dates for a number of relatives in Northern Ireland in the late 1800s, but there doesn't appear to be any sign of them on this site. Nor can I find any birth, marriage or death records for those living in the 20th century even on the 1901 and 1911 censuses. Are the records from Northern Ireland not available? |
