All I have is this name as "mother" on one daughter's American marriage record in 1954. "Father" is Eliezer (Leslie) Greenman. The Greenmans lived after immigration in Liverpool. In the 1901 Census, Rosa Greenman Russia, aged 56 widow, is the "mother" I am looking for as Rena (she used a variety of first names, Rosa, Reine, Rena.....) There is one clue in the mass of other family records I have,"Minnie Turpin, cousin, Russia,19" in the 1901 Liverpool Census, which is probably Trupin on the written Census record. Please ignore all the other Minnie Turpins in Censuses. Trupin could also be Srupin, it's a Russian or Polish Jewish name. |
