I would imagine they worked together - but can't see any sign of John in Belper in 1861.

Selina and family in 1861 - were the Fathers nail makers together perhaps or just coincidental ??

If the age at marriage was correct, Henry is more likely to have been born in 1841 unless he'd had his birthday in those first few days of January.

Would appreciate any information on the above ancestors...Henry Redford born circa 1841 probably in Derbyshire married to Selina Allen who was born in 1841 in Belper in Derbyshire, her name can also be spelt as Serena, I think that they married in 1863 and they certainly had a daughter called Elizabeth Redford
