Hi, I'm looking for information on the Charlton family of , Newcastle upon Tyne & the Cain family of Scotswood, Newcastle upon Tyne. Amy Sherriff of Leicester was the mother to both families. Many thanks.

This site is free to access and will help you look for births, marriages and deaths up to around 1983, no mmn given pre Q3 1912. Age at death only from mid 1860's

Using them in combination sometimes helps as the GRO site can only be searched in 5 year chunks, and by male and female separately.

Both are well worth exploring and getting to know how to use.
