Find Ancestors

Come to a brick wall anyone have any idea how i can find this missing ancestor

A old uncle said connected the the Earl Spencer.. I can not find the link

This gentleman married a gt gt aunt of mine in 1901 Minnie Loveday.

William Edward Spencer Matthews was born in 1875 only know this as he was 26 on his wedding day. We have the marriage certificate.
Also know his father was Isaac Spencer-Mathews

I ve searched everywhere at great cost and he doesn't seem to exist

This is my missing link of hours of work on the Loveday family.

Anyone else had this problem?

Minnie was born in Stratton wiltshire 1880

He was a Labourer when he married, and his 'father' was deceased.
