I'm wondering if someone can have a look for someone returning to this country. I've tried Ancestry and FMP and can't find it.
Arthur Witts went to Australia on 21 April 1890. I have found this record but I can't find a record of his return journey. I know he was back here by 1892 because he married here then. He was born in 1866 in Monmouthshire and died in 1945. His wife was Margaret Edwards and they married in Neath. Arthur travelled to Australia with a friend, Francis Roberts, aged nineteen, a painter by trade. We don't know if they returned together. There may not be a record there but I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious.

EDIT Just seen above post by Kay, that certainly could be him. He was a laborer.

I'm sorry not to have returned to this sooner. I spent all evening trying to get through to a hospital ward. That certainly does look as though it's him. It's a tree I'm doing for a friend who is Arthur's grandson and it's nice to have all the details. I now need to get Ivor's birth cert to see if Arthur was his father or someone else or someone unknown. Thank you so much for your help. I wish I'd asked sooner now.

The baptism took place after Margaret's marriage to Witts

Thank you for those. Most of the family are buried in St. Matthew's Churchyard so that ties in nicely with the baptism. Ivor was a stoker in the navy for a few years.
