I have Mary's actual death certificate but it has nothing about her maiden name on it. It is the original death certificate given to her son Dennis when he registered Mary's death.
The date of birth Dennis gave me and its correct as many many years ago I saw a copy of her birth certificate but I was a child then and dont remember all the details.

If all you are basing your DoB info on is the death cert, I'm afraid that is not reliable, as the info given is 'as known'

What is the paperwork you have which gives her birthdate, please?

The only documentation giving a DOB which could be completely relied on would be her birth cert - which you don't have.

Anything else depends on whether or not Mary or whoever the informant was actually knew her exact DOB.

My late husband and siblings, and their father himself, were sure they knew their father's DOB. It was only when he died, and they had to get a copy of his birth cert for legal purposes that they discovered he was actually a year and a couple of days older than they had always been told.

Erikah the birthdate for Mary is definitely 07/121913 as I have paperwork but it doesn't give a maiden name.

Alvegail. Leslie did live in Riverside rd until he died in 81 but his address with mary was 43 riverside road. I'm wondering if he lodged there in lodgings before he met mary.

However, the person registering may not have known much about her...............Leslie pre-deceased her, and he was probably the only one with full info.

I doubt that her birth name was Foreman.................
