My baldwin family now live in weardley and harewood Nr leeds,I have researched from now and back to john baldwin/boden b 1754 harewood,, i have had no luck with going back from him [brick wall]. Over the past few years some people have said they come from lancashire i had nothing to go on so i did not go down that path a few weeks ago a man sent me a email saying the baldwins come from colne lancashire and stated his dad was henry.
So i have rooted about for a few days and found a henry thart had a son b 1754 this man was born1738-1808 which made him 16 years old so i thought no too youngwell its over 200 years ago maybe yes.
So i dug a bit more, then i found a henric baldwin 1709 son of henry maybe then found henric son of henric b may 1675,

somewhere along the line a lady called margaret baldwin had a ba-tard son henry

i dont know if it is right hope one fof you nice people can put me right

maddieyou are mostly right, john moved to harwood/weardley nr leeds where he marr ann brayshaw and had about 11 kids i think i have johns father henry b1721 colne
died 1792 and on his birth it says henrici is his father he is what i am looking for and any marr or births,.deaths and brothers or sisters.
