Hi LondonBelle and ArgyllGran.
Yes, 1919 is the record I have used.
Probate to Ethel McMurray is one of her daughters.
I have been entering that family in my tree tonight. Amazing that they are my great aunts and uncles and I knew nothing about them.
Some died young, some never married, so a large family came down to very few.
The power of digital records now.
The date of birth for Mary Cheshyre Whiteway was 24 June 1859.
I think being widowed with few family around, there wouldn’t be a headstone.
Funnily enough I found a family called Roberts tonight. Someone’s probate went to them.
I will enter the next generation back into my tree tomorrow. If I find anything interesting I will let you know.
Meanwhile it is sleep time here now.
Thanks for taking an interest.

LondonBelle, I checked my records this morning and I have a copy of the death certificate for Mary Cheshyre McMurray. There is no birth date mentioned.

Carole, I wasn't sure where Mary had died. In some countries that info would have been provided but sadly not in the UK until much later than 1919. I've checked Cemeteries around where Mary lived before she died in the hope of finding a Headstone but I haven't found anything :-(

Thank you for your time LondonBelle.
Mary died at the home of son Herbert at 6 Saughall Road, Chester.
I don’t think there would have been a headstone.
I have checked Herbert Cheshyre McMurray’s death (1957), says cremated or buried in Leigh, Lancashire.
I have been adding my grandfather's 8 siblings in today, Interesting.
