Do you know that Sophia did actually marry?

A tree on Ancestry claims she died in August 1834 in Barking - but doesn't provide any proof.

I can't see any burial record for her.

ArgyllGran I only have baptism of Sophia, had thought she must have died very young but no proof, shame. 3 of her siblings younger than her all died in the 30s
and also 3 siblings of the first born

ErikaH I was given the info from someone on GR back in 2010 or earlier. I just wrote it down to confirm at a later date. There was a problem with dates of children around Sophia but those have been sorted out and Sophia was left. I have checked back at the person who gave me the info and it looks like they have put Sophia on their tree but have not confirmed. All those people who have her on Ancestry only have family trees as their record, so theyve copied.

Sorry, Rose, I assumed you were quoting actual records when giving the baptism date for Sophia. That's why I asked you to C&P. I didn't realise you didn't have factual info - my mistake

Taking info from anyone else's tree is always risky, if there isn't any documentary backup

As far as Ancestry and FS are concerned, there's no evidence of Sophia ever having existed at all.

i was given this info years ago, plenty of John Elmore's with spouse Elizabeth
but I cannot see this one.
All the Elizabeth Holmes I found were in York

The nearest I have found is the birth of John Elmore 29/8/1750 Bap 9/9/1750
St Peter & St Paul Dagenham, I think all the Ellmore/Elmore's in my family were
born and baptized in Barking unless St Margarets didnt exist lol?

Where would someone have found this information?
