You don't need a Scottish member particularly - though I am one!

Register free with Scotlands People - https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
You can search free, though you have to buy credits (minimum 30 credits for £7.50) in order to see the actual image of a cert.

That's what we Scottish (and other) members do.
