I know you said you couldn't ask Wilma, but one would have thought that Maureen's children could ask their mother where she was born, even if she doesn't wish to have contact with you.

The Dusseldorf birth is the ONLY one for the name Maureen G. Get a copy of the cert for FULL info.

However, that doesn't help with her mother's birth, which you may have to accept you can't find.

All the online resources available have been checked.

To find out her father's name, buy a copy of one of her marriage certs

I couldn't ask Wilma, as I said she's in a nursing home getting on in age and hard to get info from.

I've already tried sending a friend request on Facebook to Maureen, but she hasn't accepted or has a new account.

Maureen's kids only know that she was born in Germany.

Drury birth is registered in 1955 Germany Dusseldorf,,,,,the same year as Rita's birth was registered in England,which poses then Wilma cant be in two places at once,,,unless its a General Overseas Registration inclusive of years,,,19????to 1960.

Its not easy to reseach records in Germany as they have no central registration department and all places have their own registration department,plus they have a block on many records of less than 100 years,,,,,,Wilmas andJims marriage certificate should name her father and if a catholic marriage her mothers name will appear on the church record.although most will be in Latin,

There is no birth on FMP worldwide for Maureen G Drury other than the one in 1955

Why didn't you say at the outset that you know Wilma's current whereabouts?

Was Jim Drury in the Army? as there was a big army base in Dusseldorf.,

1955 is the year that Wilhelmine G Sieben married Jim K Drury in Doncaster, and the year that Rita Margaret Drury was born, Rita died 1973. Rita appears on Roy LLewellyn's Grave stone along with twins of Roy and Wilma born 1964 and died 1964. Their names were George and Joseph.

Wilma is still living, but in a nursing home and it's difficult to get any information from her.

I know now that Maureen G was born Jan-Mar 1/4 of 1959 in Germany. She married John Edmunds in 1975, then again in 2002. Their children are Philip Edmunds 1980, Samantha Edmunds 1975, Clare Edmunds 1977 and Joanne Edmunds 1983.

As far as I can tell Wilma is still living. She’s on the ER to 2016, and there’s no death on the GRO index which goes up to 2019

There is a birth for Maureen G Drury in British Overseas Forces Indices in Düsseldorf- BUT it’s 1955, so can’t be a sibling of the two posted above.

That person (probably) married in Wales in 1975
