Find Ancestors

So I’m trying to find information on a Henrietta Jenner born in either 1904/1905, (census from 1939 says birth 1904, death certificate says 1905).
We presume she was born in Ireland, however no one can find a birth certificate for her anywhere. She had 7?children, the eldest we cannot remember the name of, Doreen, Terry, maureen, Brian, Joyce, and was married to a John A Wildash in 1941.
We have found Doreen’s last name on birth certificate to be Jenner, whereas maureen’s is wildash, so we can only presume there was a different potential man possible for the eldest’s father and potentially Jenner is not henrietta’s maiden name.
We don’t know of any siblings of Henrietta or her parents names.
Any help would be appreciated as everything is coming to a dead end.

If Doreen was born a few years pirior to the 1941 marriage then the birth is registered in the maiden name of Jenner, the other took the fathers surname even though the parents wasnt married at the time.


getting her marriage certificate could name a father which would help.

There is this birth which tie with this 1911 census,,,,,,she could have added a couple of years to her age,?

The above isn't her,,,that one married in 1930,

Both 1939 Register and the death cert give the date as 31st August, even though the year differs.

Her birth would have been registered in the 3rd or 4th quarter of whatever year it was - but not necessarily either 1904 or 1905..

Why do you think she might have been born in Ireland?

I see Marguerite and Maureen are with Henrietta in 1939, but where are the others?

Can you list approximate years of birth for Terence, Doreen and Joyce?

There's a Joycelynn but she has MMN Sewell. Odd thing is, she is born in the same district as Brian and then marries in Gainsboro where all the other are.

Can't find a marriage for a Sewell to a Wildash.

Edit: John's first wife was a Sewell back in 1919. Did he register Joycelynn's birth and make a mistake with the maiden name?

On 1939 Register Henrietta and family were at 3 Willoughby Park Road, Tottenham.

Henrietta's also there on 1938 ER, with John Albert Wildash.

In 1934, John Wildash is listed with his wife Margaret at 55 St Pauls Road, Islington.
In 1933 and 1932 Margaret and John Alfred (same person as John Albert ?) are at 18 Arundel Square, Islington.
In 1935, Margaret Ann and John Alfred are at 99 Holloway Road, Islington.

The only marriage I can see for a John Wildash to a Margaret is the one to Margaret Sewell.

In 1936 and 1937, John Alfred and Harriett Wildash are at 83 Bride Street, Islington.

Harriett can be a shorter version of Henrietta. I wonder if there was some name changing because she wasn't divorced? They did move away, once they finally got married.

The trees don't mention Harriet. One has a private entry for spouse, the others don't list a wife.


Two of them say he's on 1932 ER in Islington with his mother. He's not - that's his father John Barnes Jones.
