Find Ancestors

I have a Fred Waters Richardson born 8th April 1891 according to birth records and 1939 register
On his Marriage in 1917 to Lavinia Dale his father was missing Think I have him in 1911 as a cadet and in 1920 silver award badge in the Irish Guards ?

But nothing points me to his parents or Mother he could be illimitable

Any help would be appreciated

In 1901, seems to be in Armstrong household, as nephew

You’ll need to do some research to find the connection. A nice little project during lockdown

Thank You I didn't see the 1901 that is above I saw one with his grandmother which I wasn't sure about
I looked at GRO but not knowing if he was Illegitimate I didn't use MMN that many I possibly missed it
not sure what you mean pre 1911

When Erika mentioned pre-1911 it means that on the GRO website it gives the mother's maiden name for births right from the start of civil registration in 1837. Before you could search this site most websites only gave the mother's maiden name after 1911.

If the GRO doesn't give a mother's maiden name, just a small line like this....-... then it usually means the child was illigitimate.

Which service record has his mothers name on It does seem as though its the right family as she has a sister Margaret A in 1891 census and living with her in 1901

it has his mothers name on it and his step fathers name but you have to click through a few pages
but you can't copy and paste that bit

may be some one can sent the file over to you as i don't know how to yet
