I'm away from the record of the family but yes I recognise those. Sure there was a Joseph as well and not surprisingly an Alice.

He may have had a sister Sarah. Based on records on lanopc

Thank you safc. Certainly a possibility. I had that (son) Joseph born/bapt. 20 Aug 1820 and marrying Eliza Gaskell on 21 Jan 1845 with witness Samuel (another brother I had hoped).
No mention of a father on the marriage certificate.

Again, I don't know her death details. Made to believe it was pre-registration. Last child was born 1825.
Have found an Alice Lomax buried 10 May 1829 in Little Lever... you never know. Prety sure she didn't remarry as I can find nothingg in the censuses.

Hi.
I have Alice Walch marrying Josiah Barrow on 17 Dec 1802 in Bolton.
Alice Lomax had married William Walch on 18 Sept 1799 in Bolton but he died in 1800.
I am looking for her parents. I think I have her birth/baptism 10 Aug 1783 athough I have doubts over this and certainly can't give any evidence for it.
Hoping fir some help please.
