As have found a few of his Electroles

He volunteered in Aug 1914 and in the following March sailed for Egypt. In this theatre of war he was engaged in the heavy fighting in the advance through Sinai, Palestine and Syria. He fought at the Battle of Gaza, where he was wounded, and in the operations prior to the capture of Jerusalem. returning to England he was demobilised in June 1919 and holds the 1914-15 Star and the General Service and Victory medals.

He married Lizzie Summerfield born 1899 Sundon Bedfordshire Died 1970

I don’t seam to be able to find Wilfred Pinney on 1911 Census
Maybe he went to join WW1
His father Arthur Pinney born 1961 Died 1915 Luton Beds
Is living on 1911 Census with a relative Luton Bedfordshire
His mother Eliza Annette born 1862 Clifton Berkshire Died 1909 Luton Beds

I think Arthur father is William Pinney 1832 - 1901Luton Bedfordshire
Mother is Eliza. Wingrave born 1833 -66 Luton Bedfordshire
