Hi, I am looking for the above Charles Beaumont on 1911 Census.

I have found his baptism entry for 1910 at St. Augustine, Stepney, London.
Parents are William Beaumont (A Packer) & Mary. Living at 11, Pole Street, Stepney.

Cannot find a GRO birth entry or 1911 Census entry either !!

Any help please, most welcome.

I ask myself the same question - Why was his mother called Mary when she is in fact Paulina ??

Polly is often a "pet" name for someone called Mary. My grandmother was always known as Polly, though her name was really Mary Ann.

Perhaps the clerk at Charles's baptism was told her name was Polly, and assumed it was really Mary ??
