Not sure about Military I know my Grand dad died in WW! but I don't really know anything about Sidney I was 6 when he died I was looking at the births for Sidney GRO ? Their are a couple that could be one in Altringham father Walter who is a Painter?? think I'm going to have to get the marriage for them

Hi again My Sidney died 1951 , 1939 he was living at 58 Panfield Road Manchester with Catherine and possibly their son John Albert Jones wo died in 1944 Sidney was a Painter And Decorator he worked for Manchester Council I Think he was born in 1887c going off his age at death and the 1939 Register
