There a story in family that one of my father's sisters had a baby and the father was her grandfather Margaret b1906 was my dad's sister

If Nora was born in 1926, either her name wasn’t Jones, or she wasn’t Margaret’s child

I think Florence meant she was not sure where John James Jones was born because she knew the marriage was in Liverpool. The confusion because of the lack of punctuation.

Perhaps the death I found was the wrong one.

I think safc has given the reference for the marriage because if you buy the marriage certificate it should name John's father (if he knew him).
