Find Ancestors

I am trying to find a marriage date for Thomas but seem to be going around in circles. Possibly due to not doing something correctly.
From the 1841 census, there is a Thomas Dimmock, b1791 age 50. There is also Mary Dimmock b1794 age 47. I am fairly certain that they lived in and around the Lambeth area of London most if not all of their lives. My problem is that I cannot locate any evidence of marriage so cannot order up any form of certificates. Could someone please advise what I should now try. (Nothing illegal or immoral or fattening please.)

According to 1841 census he, his wife and eldest son were all born out of county. He is a shoemaker so I assume the above is the correct person. Possibly married in Kent at some point. Sarah b 1819 is also born out of county but may not be a daughter as no relationships shown.


Remarried by 1861 to Emma Bushell as I'm sure you know.

Daniel's 1824 birth has his mother, Mary of Walford or Watford in the county of Hertford.

Benjamin's 1828, says she is from Walworth in Surrey.

Ebenezer 1826, registered on the same day as Benjamin, also says Walworth.

Henry 1822 has Watford, Hertford.

John 1820 registered same day as Henry, also says Watford. He was also registered in Nov 1821.

Mary 1819 has her mother from Watford, Hertford. She was registered with brother John, above in Nov 1821.
