Trying to find more info on Edward Thomas Barker, b.1882, who married Clara Hopwood, b.1883. I think they married in 1902 in the Stoke area, but this is all the info we have.

One note of caution - the local index might use year of birth rather than year of registration
My niece was born just before Xmas - her birth was rego'ed within the allowed 6 wks, but in the March quarter of the following year


It would appear this wasn't done for deaths - here one has 7 or 8 days to rego the death, so it occurs more rarely.
