Am trying to find the marriage of a Lilian Jane Stanley, to a William Norman.(possibly between 1913-1915)
She was born in Worcestershire in 1894, Father Charles Stanley and Mother Jane Viner.
In 1913, she gave birth to William Norman STANLEY,(out of Marriage) then in
1915, Charles Henry Frank NORMAN
1919 Lilian May NORMAN
1924 Robert Frederick NORMAN.

In 1933 she remarried (Lilian Jane NORMAN) an Albert Evans, and on the Marriage certificate, claims to be a Widow, age 39, and her father was Charles Stanley, a Salt maker. I have a copy of the Marriage certificate. On the birth certificates of Charles, Lilian and Robert, their father is William NORMAN>

Cannot find a reference to the marriage of Lilian Stanley to William Norman, or the death of William Norman in Wocestershire between 1924 (Birth of Robert NORMAN and 1933, the marriage of Lilian to Albert EVANS>

Doesn’t look like she married him unless it was in Scotland


Edit not in Scotland either

If they didn’t marry, as seems probable, William could have still been living
