I have hit a brickwall hoping a kind person can knock it down.
William Blackham supposably married a Alice Jessie Hawkins but I can not find a marriage
These are the Williams Blackhams I have born around 1855/1857

(1 ) William 1855 Belper married a Mary Ann Turner 17/11/1876 then Eliza Bingham 16/7/1893 his parents were Thomas Blackham & Mary Boswell

(2) William Blackham 1856 Staffs married Rose Ann Wiley 28/1/1877 his parents were Joseph Blackham & Mary Ann Boden

(3) William Blackham 3/10/1856 Heage Derbys married Susannah Thrall 20/1/1877
His parents were Thomas Blackham & Elizabeth Crofts

In 1911 William & Alice Jessie are living at 4 Ninth Avenue Heaton Newcastle on Tyne with 7 children he is a 54 year old Superintendant Physical Earnse

None of 3 Williams above had this occupation

Are you sure about this? You can find this couple on all the censuses, yet this is the William with Alice Jessie.The DOB matches the 1939 register

They are at 21 Kensington Gardens, Whitley Bay, Northumberland in 1939.

Are you sure? This appears to be your William born a year later with those parents.

But I admit that in 1881 that William is with Mary Ann, and in 1891 he and the same children are with an Eliza!

All so confusing!

I really messed it up with all of these Williams born 1856/57

(2) William born 1856 parents William Blackham & Rose Ann Wiley married Mary Ann Hutton
( 3 ) William born 3/8/1857 parents Thomas Blackham & Elizabeth Crofts married Emma Ault then Alice Jessie Hawkins
