Are you certain this is Elizabeth's son? Your post implies she wasn't married when Robert was born |

I have an Elizabeth Briggs born 1801 at St Mary's in Nottingham. I think her mother was Jane Briggs. The last time I have found her in a census as Elizabeth Briggs is 1841 in Southwell. I can't find any marriage records after this date for her but I have found a record of a death in 1842 in Southwell, volume 15, page 417, line 55. Is there any where I can search to try and determine if this is my Elizabeth or do I have to order the death certificate to progress further? |
