I am looking for information on my husband's great grandfather. Charles was born in Burnham Essex in about 1861. He was married to Mary and had several children, one of whom was Frank Gordon (b. c.1886) who is the grandfather of my husband. Does anyone have any information on Charles please? His parents were Joseph and Sarah (nee Croxon), both from Essex.

Edits! (right, seen another account of shooting accident, he sustained such injuries from the bursting of the gun, that his left hand has since been necessarily amputated)
So above 1847 would be him...
